Municipalities 

Complementing work at the bioregional scale, r3.0 is pursuing work at the next fractally nested scale of the municipality. This work builds on years of collaboration with our Advocation Partner, the Flourishing Enterprise Institute (FEI), and its work developing the Enterprise Evolution (EE) framework, as well as the Municipalities Adapting in Response to Complexity (MARC) partnership. More specifically, r3.0 is jointly pursuing research with FEI and the University of Guelph, in particular focusing on the application of Context-Based Sustainability (CBS) as a next level of maturity for municipalities that have implemented the Sustainable Development Goals and/or the Doughnut Framework from the Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL).
